Rules in place for Shawn Mendes concert

Shawn Mendes is making his way to the Don Haskins Center on October 13th and concert-goers are being asked to arrive early due to increased security protocols. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

The following items will NOT be allowed into the venue:

Large backpacks, bags, purses or totes o Anything 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches (11.4 centimeters x 16.51 centimeters) or smaller is allowed Glass items Professional cameras, to include any camera with detachable lenses Audio and video recorders Radio scanning/jamming equipment Weapons of any sort Fireworks Banners with poles Political banners Laser pointers or noise makers Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or paraphernalia Selfie sticks Laptop computers or tablets Coolers Luggage of any kind Camera bags

For concert-goers without bags, there will be a no bag line so they can quickly enter the building.

There will be no check-in system at the arena, so owners will have to return the prohibited items to their vehicles.

Patrons who have chosen the mobile delivery option for their tickets will be able to access their tickets through Ticketmaster’s mobile app or by visiting Ticketmaster’s website via their mobile devices.

Please access your mobile tickets prior to entering the security area to expedite entry to the event.
