Former K-State QB transferring to UTEP
A former Kansas State quarterback will be suiting up for the UTEP Miners next football season.
Alex Delton confirmed through Twitter Thursday night that he will transfer to UTEP.
Delton played for UTEP head coach Dana Dimel when Dimel was the offensive coordinator at Kansas State.
Delton is a dual-threat quarterback who during his time at Kansas State put up 734 yards on the ground and 1,191 through the air as a part-time starter for the Wildcats over the past two seasons.
Skylar Thompson eventually won the starting job away from Delton early this year.
Delton will join the Miners as a graduate transfer and will be eligible to play immediately.
