Chihuahuas infielder, Ty France, to compete in Triple-A Home Run Derby
The Sun City is a little more than a week away from hosting the 2019 RMHC Triple-A All-Star Game.
Two days before the All-Star Game, Southwest University Park will play host to the Jarritos Triple-A Home Run Derby.
Monday, it was announced which El Paso Chihuahua would compete in the Home Run Derby.
Ty France will have the advantage of hitting dingers (home runs) from his own home field, Southwest University Park.
The infielder has hit 19 home runs this season, and he’s also on the roster for the Pacific Coast League All-Star team.
France has a total of 61 hits and 55 RBIs this season.
The Jarritos Triple-A Home Run Derby is Monday, July 8, the RMHC Triple-A All-Star Game is two days later on July 10.
