Driver arrested in upper valley after officer recognized car reported stolen
EL PASO, Texas – El Paso police say an officer recognized a stolen Maroon Jeep Cherokee, which led to the arrest of the driver.
Police say it happened Friday, May 21, when the officers spotted a car speeding on Lindbergh Avenue.
Police say they followed the car until it came to a stop on I-10 west and Artcraft. Police say they approached the driver and placed Jalen Ali Martin under arrest.
Martin was booked on a $10,000 bond. He's charged with evading arrest and detention with a vehicle.
