The City of El Paso wants to help everyone beat the heat one splash pad at a time

EL PASO, Texas- With the temperatures staying in the 100s for the first week of June, The City of El Paso is looking to help cool people off.

Splash pads and parks are open all over the city, many free of charge.

ABC-7’s was at the Braden Aboud Memorial park to get the reaction of people enjoying the facility.

“So we have a limit in terms of facilities that are open. We also had limited hours we are able to open our spray parks.  Our spray parks opened up as another alternative option open for the community that is completely free throughout the week in order to cool off and beat this heat,” said El Paso Communication Director Laura Cruz-Acosta.
