Renters face increases

Renters in the U.S. are facing some tough times. According to a study from Freddie Mac nearly 60% of renters were hit with an increase during this past year. Only 38% of those renters saw in increase in take-home pay.

The study also noted higher housing costs and inflation have changed plans for many potential home buyers.

Almost three-quarters of renter households who were planning on buying a home say it's now out of the question.
