18-wheeler crashes into several burrito stands in Chihuahua, killing ten
UPDATE: The death toll has risen to ten.
The victims ages range between people in their twenties to those in their sixties.
CHIHUAHUA, Mexico -- An 18-wheeler crashed into several burrito stands in Villa Ahumada, Chihuahua Wednesday, killing seven and leaving several injured.
The crash happened in the main corridor of the municipality.

Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar of Juárez addressed the situation in a tweet, "I am extremely concerned about the unfortunate accident some hours ago in Ahumada City (municipality); we are quickly working to send 4 ambulances, 2 units of firefighters, rescue equipment, and the Director of Civil Services, Roberto Briones, to supervise."

Chihuahua Governor Maru Campos said in a tweet, "We regret the events that happened this afternoon in the Municipality of Ahumada. Since the beginning the governor, Maru Campos, is directing all state teams, the Secretary of Public Safety, the Civil Services Director, the state prosecutor, and Department of Human Development to work and support in this situation."
