Disney’s 100th Anniversary
The Walt Disney Company is going to celebrate their 100th Anniversary next year in Disneyland. Guests can expect a new “platinum” overlay and two new night-time spectaculars, among other surprises. The celebration will start in late January of 2023.
The Official Disney Fan Club dubbed D-23 just announced in it's biennial Expo, Mickey, Minnie, and their friends will sport new looks as part of the celebration.
A new nighttime spectacular is being developed for EPCOT, and a Moana-inspired experience at EPCOT called 'Journey of Water' is set to open there late 2023.
In California, 2 new night-time shows will debut "Wondrous Journeys" at Disneyland resort, and "World of Color - One" at Disney California Adventure park. Also at California Adventure, a new multiverse-centered attraction next year will allow guests to fight alongside the Avengers.
