El Paso woman competing for the title of Ms. Health and Fitness
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- An El Paso business owner is vying for the title of Ms. Health and Fitness.
50-year-old Heidi Avedician told ABC-7, she wants to motivate and inspire other women.
Avedician said she is passionate about fitness, health and nutrition.
As a mother of two, she wants to inspire the next generation.
"Fitness has given me the strength, confidence, energy, mental focus and be an all-around positive woman! Fitness has positively impacted my life and now want to help others help find their healthy lifestyle," she said.
The El Pasoan is competing against 50 women and she is currently in 5th place.
The winner of the competition will be featured on the cover of Muscle and Fitness HERS magazine and take home $20,000.
Avedician said she would like to help her own gym with new equipment if she wins.
