‘La Feria Juárez’ starts tomorrow, will have two locations this year

JUAREZ, Chihuahua (KVIA) -- The famous Juarez fair will kick off this Thursday, May, 25 and it will run until July 9.

A new feature the Feria this year is that the second half of the fair will take place in a new, different location.

From May 25 to June 18, the fair will be in the same place as last year, at the Juarez "X". Starting June 23 to July 9, the new location will be at the 'Las Torres' area in South Juarez.

This year the fair will feature famous international artists, dozens of different types of food, and different rides. Fair organizers are setting up 49 rides at the Plaza de la Mexicanidad.

The city of Juarez announced that for those El Paso and Las Cruces residents traveling to the fair they will offer free bus rides from city hall, right next to the Paso Del Norte Bridge. These free rides will depart every half-hour from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Single tickets for the fair will cost 85 Mexican pesos, almost $5.
