El Paso VA hosting clinic on Pact Act Claims

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Veterans Affairs Office wants veterans to know help is available for anyone who was exposed to toxic hazards during their time of service.

The PACT Act of 2022 is an Act of Congress intended to significantly improve healthcare access and funding for veterans who were exposed to toxic substances, including radiation, smoke, Agent Orange, burn pits, and other environmental hazards.

The VA has expanded health care benefits for millions of veterans and their families, including any Vietnam era, Gulf War era, and Post-9/11 Veterans.

Anyone wishing to learn more about these benefits is invited to attend a clinic Friday at VFW post #8782, at 691 N. Carolina Drive, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
