El Paso father and two sons charged with murder following road rage crash
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A father and his two adult sons are facing murder charges after police say they got into a road rage incident with another driver. This happened Tuesday evening on the 5900 block of Doniphan in El Paso's Upper Valley.
Police say 53-year-old Raul Alberto Orozco was driving along Doniphan when he started chasing the victim, 32-year-old Marcos Fino Jr. Police say Raul called his adult sons, 21-year-old Cristian Bradley Orozco and 28-year-old Jose Alberto Orozco, to help him trap Fino.
Witnesses tell investigators the Orozcos converged on Fino's car, which was also carrying three other people, on the 5900 block of Doniphan. Police say Jose and Cristian stopped in front of Fino, while Raul blocked him from the rear. The Orozcos, Fino, and Fino's male passenger got into a verbal argument, which police say turned physical. Police say that Jose shot Fino during the fight.
Investigators say the Orozcos all drove away before calling police. Fino's passenger, meanwhile, tried to drive Fino to the hospital, but stopped to flag down a police officer on the 6100 block of Doniphan.
The Orozcos were arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility Wednesday morning, according to police. Raul was booked on a $500,000 bond, Cristian under a $500,000 bond, and Jose under a $1,000,000 bond.
Investigators are still looking for information. Call the non-emergency number (915)-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
