Woman charged with third DWI after serious crash in Far East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Police arrested an El Paso woman earlier this month on her third DWI charge.
Investigators say that 26-year-old Elisa Adriana De La Gala was driving on the 12300 block of Pebble Hills Boulevard in Far East El Paso when she crashed her car into a roundabout. This happened just before 9:30 p.m. September 7, 2023.
A neighbor heard the crash and ran to help De La Gala, waiting with her until medical responders could arrive.
As emergency crews were taking De La Gala to the hospital, police determined that she was showing signs of impairment, according to an official news release distributed to the public on September 13, 2023.
This is her third DWI charge. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
