Man shot dead in South-Central El Paso

Update: One person is dead, police say. Investigators describe the deceased as a Hispanic young adult or older teen.

"It is an isolated incident and no threat to the public at this time," EPPD officials stated. "Crimes Against Persons is investigating and when further updates are available they will be provided."


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police have blocked off part of a south-central neighborhood as they investigate an unknown problem.

Police units responded to the 3300 block of E. San Antonio Ave.

They say the call came in at 1:30 a.m. Monday.
