Hiker rescued in Franklin Mountains

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)-- The El Paso Fire Department's Combined Search and Rescue (ComSar) team responded to an incident involving a hiker in the Tom Mays Unit located inside the Franklin Mountains State Park.

According to EPFD the hiker suffered a broken ankle and was taken to a nearby hospital. The call came in at about 12:30 p.m. and nine people went out on the rescue mission.
