Man struck, injured by escaping car burglar in west El Paso
EL PASO, Texas - A car burglary victim was injured on the city's westside early Thursday morning, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Police initially said the man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by the robber who was trying to get away from the scene. Officials later said the injuries were not as severe as it appeared.
The car burglary happened on 222 Bartlett Drive at the the Pear Tree Apartments. Police cleared out of the parking lot around 5:45 a.m
Police haven't said if they've made an arrest.
