Man wanted for strangling a family member arrested near El Paso middle school
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- 24-year-old Fernando "Frankie" Soto is in the El Paso County Jail after deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit took him into custody May 25, 2023.
Officials issued a felony criminal warrant for Soto's arrest. He was charged with assault on a family or household member (impeding breath or circulation). Deputies picked him up on the 10500 block of Ashwood in East El Paso, a few blocks south of Eastwood Middle School.
Officials are holding Soto in jail on a $55,000 bond.
