21-year-old woman accused of shooting at arguing couple in East El Paso
Update (February 5, 2024): Police announced the arrest of 21-year-old Kaory Ramos Monday. Police say the SWAT team had to get involved in her arrest at a Far East El Paso house. They charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked her into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond. Police have not released her mugshot.
Investigators explain that the victim, a 30-year-old West El Paso woman, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Crimes Against Persons detectives learned that the victim was having an argument with her spouse when Ramos started arguing with the couple. She allegedly pointed a handgun at them and shot multiple times. Ramos then ran away. Police have not provided an explanation of Ramos' motive. ABC-7 is working to find out more.
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police say a woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound.
Police dispatch received a shots fired call Saturday morning just after 2:13 a.m. at the 1400 block of N. Zaragoza in East El Paso.
Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating what led to the shooting.
Police say the victim is listed as stable at this time.
