Fire burns house in Las Cruces

Update: Las Cruces Fire Department officials say it took crews 15 minutes to put out the fire.

No one was inside and no one was reported injured, according to officials.

"The cause of the fire is under investigation and damage estimates have not yet been determined," officials stated Tuesday.


LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- A house on the 1300 block of Amador in Las Cruces caught fire this morning.

Neighbors say the house has caught fire before and that no one lives inside.

Fire crews were battling the blaze for awhile and the smoke could be seen for miles.
