El Paso Police investigating death in South Central

UPDATE: Police say 63-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Police have not yet released his identity.
According to a police spokesperson, officers responded to a call of an unattended death around 8 a.m. Monday morning on the 1900 block of Olive Ave. Officers found the man dead, and detectives with the Crimes Against Persons unit were called to the scene.
Police said the death is an isolated incident, with no danger to the public at this time.

The Crimes Against Persons unit is responding to the investigation on the 1900 block of Olive Avenue. That is just north of Douglas Elementary, near Piedras St. and East Paisano Dr.
