Correction: School Shooting-Iowa story

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — In a story published September 14, 2023, about an Iowa teenager charged in the deaths of two students at a Des Moines alternative school, The Associated Press erroneously reported the conviction details in a story summary. Preston Walls was found guilty of second-degree murder and voluntary manslaughter. He was not found guilty of first-degree murder.
