WATCH: GOP’s Border Security Caucus tours El Paso conditions

EL PASO, Texas -- A Republican congressional delegation made up of members of the Border Security Caucus visited El Paso on Monday to examine U.S.-Mexico border conditions. The partisan group spoke to reporters afterwards, which you can watch in the video player above.

The trip was led by GOP Rep. Brian Babin, the caucus co-chair from Texas's 36th congressional district, who has been critical of the Biden administration's handling of a recent migrant influx, saying it is “leading to bad consequences.”

The group toured the Fort Bliss emergency child migrant intake site, an El Paso port of entry, the Border Patrol's central processing center, along with portions of the border wall.

Southern New Mexico Republican Congresswoman Yvette Herrell was also among the touring delegation members.
