UPDATE (5:14 p.m.) -- The city opened an online survey for those who can't attend community meetings in-person. It will close April 17 at 5 p.m. You can find the survey link here.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The City of El Paso is continuing its community meetings as they get more information for a data center policy framework.

The city has hosted four meetings so far and the fifth meeting will be Thursday at the Chamizal Community Center (2119 Cypress Ave.) from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Residents have the chance to look at updated information from the city and speak with city staff. The feedback they get will be used to develop the framework.

ABC-7 reported last week that the new data center will be bigger than anticipated. It's now a $10 billion project and is expected to bring over 4,000 jobs to the area.

The next meeting will take place Wednesday, April 8 at the Wayne Thornton Community Center.

Beyond open house meetings, the city opened an online information portal for frequently asked questions about the META data center project, including impacts on noise, power and water.
