El Pasoans spreading awareness on National Stop the Bleed Day

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Thursday, May 25, is the 5th Annual National Stop the Bleed Day. Here in El Paso, workplaces and schools are giving trainings on how to control major bleeds. It could be someone who goes to one of these trainings that saves your life, experts say.

On Thursday afternoon Montwood High School students will be trained by professionals on how to stop a major bleed. Experts say that although they hope the students never have to use the training in a real situation, it could be the difference between life and death.
