EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Her name is Peyton Walsh, but at the new Providence Children's Hospital Level IV NICU, she is lovingly referred to as "Baby #1."

Baby Peyton earned the nickname by becoming the first preemie to move into the new NICU facility.

Providence staff members escorted Peyton in a celebratory parade to her new temporary home. She received goody bags and an official document certifying her status as the new NICU's first patient.

The facility offers parents sleep loungers, allowing them to stay with their babies, and a separate family lounge that offers a quiet place to work or eat.
