Tickets selling fast for the 2023 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — ABC-7 watched as a line of people stood wrapped around the Sun Bowl Association office in West El Paso Monday morning. People were rushing to buy their tickets to see the match between Notre Dame and Oregon State after organizers warned tickets could sell out in 24 hours.

Officials with the Sun Bowl Association said they are no longer taking purchases on the phone due to demand. The only way to get tickets is in person or via Ticketmaster.

The Sun Bowl Association offices are located at 4150 Pinnacle St #100, just off Executive Center Boulevard.

Bernie Olivas, Director for the Sun Bowl Association, said the office will be open and selling tickets, as long as it is needed.

Some El Pasoans tell ABC-7 that they hope to get tickets for their family, many hoping to still find seats together.
