Felony warrant suspect barricaded in Las Cruces standoff with police

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - A felony warrant suspect was barricaded in a Las Cruces building Sunday night, police confirmed.

The officers first located the suspect around 7 p.m., confirmed Detective Frank Torres. He called it a "surround and callout."

At 9:35 p.m., Detective Torres told ABC-7 that SWAT had not yet been called to the scene.

No further details were available.
