Las Cruces soup kitchen not stopped by pandemic as it serves up 300 to-go Thanksgiving meals

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- The pandemic couldn't stop El Caldito Soup Kitchen in Las Cruces from feeding the hungry this Thanksgiving.

During the holiday, volunteers were able to serve 300 meals.

This year, the soup kitchen closed their dining hall and opted to serve patrons to-go meals to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
