Power outages affecting New Mexico State University, DACC

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - A widespread power outage has left much of New Mexico State University's main Las Cruces campus without power, as well as surrounding areas.

NMSU Communications has stated that crews from El Paso Electric are working to get power restored to the affected areas. In addition to main campus, Doña Ana Community College's (DACC) Espina campus is also reportedly without power.

The outages have forced multiple departments and offices to work remotely Thursday.
