Anthony, New Mexico police report 15 stolen cars, trailers, motorcycles


ANTHONY, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Anthony, New Mexico police tell ABC-7 that officers received a call about a stolen truck. The officers went out to the area around Pena Street and found a stolen trailer and motorcycle.

After knocking on doors, officials say officers saw a suspect running away from a stolen car. They say they then obtained search warrants for three houses and recovered 15 cars, trailers, and motorcycles that had been stolen from various cities across the Borderland.

Police report there is no immediate danger to the community at this time. They say the investigation is still ongoing as officer try to find the suspect. No arrests have been announced.
