EL PASO, Texas – Crisis negotiators convinced a 45-year-old man to peacefully walk out of a home he had barricaded himself in. The man was taken into custody by the SWAT team.

Officials say he was charged with violation of a protective order and aggravated assault.

The man had barricaded himself in a home on the 5100 block of Cornell in Northeast El Paso since around 2 p.m.
