South Texas woman dies after being ejected in northeast El Paso car crash

EL PASO, Texas - A crash in northeast El Paso killed a 23-year-old woman from South Texas, according to investigators.
It happened just after 6 a.m. Monday near the Gateway North and Stan Roberts intersection.
The Special Traffic Investigations Unit says Bianca Nicole Center from Edinburgh, Texas was in a Jeep driving along Gateway North.
A truck traveling eastbound on Stan Roberts approached Gateway North. Investigators say the truck entered the Gateway without making sure it was safe and hit Center's Jeep.
It caused the Jeep to roll over and eject Center. Center later died.
Police identified the driver of the truck as 71-year-old Juvenal Delgado from Anthony, New Mexico. The passenger of the truck was identified as 60-year-old Imelda Delgado, also from Anthony, New Mexico.
No other injuries were reported. Investigators say the main contributing factor in the fatal collisions is the truck driver's failure to yield the right of way.
This is the 51st traffic fatality compared to 47 at the same time last year.
