Juarez residents react to Crusius pleading guilty on Wednesday

JUAREZ, Chihuahua (KVIA) -- Juarez residents are still saddened three and a half years after the 2019 Walmart massacre.

The tragedy happened just across the border from Juarenses, who usually go to El Paso to get groceries or to visit family members.

ABC-7 spoke with some Juarez residents on Wednesday ahead of the re-arraignment that Crusius is set to face this afternoon.

"Juarenses" still hurt from that day, say he should face the consequences he deserves for taking those 23 people's lives and injuring dozens.

The suspected Walmart shooter Patrick Crusius is set to plead guilty in federal court. He faces 90 federal charges in connection to the Aug. 3, 2019, mass shooting.
