Migrants gather in Segundo Barrio ahead of lifting of Title 42

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Migrants continue to gather in Segundo Barrio in downtown El Paso.

Our crews have been on the scene, speaking with migrants who are gathered outside of Sacred Heart Church, which is described as the heart of the migrant crisis.

We saw a lot more trash Thursday, compared to previous days this week. We saw Environmental Services Workers on the street, cleaning up portable toilets.

Most of the streets are open. It's a different scene from December, when law enforcement officers had some streets and intersections blocked off. No one is controlling vehicle or pedestrian traffic in the area.

Migrants continue to arrive in the area. ABC-7 spoke with a Venezuelan woman who tells us she arrived with 600 other people.
