New pediatric urgent care unit open in Far East El Paso

KVIA

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - The El Paso Children's Hospital hosted the grand opening of their urgent care geared specifically towards children in Far East El Paso Saturday.

The clinic will help families get advanced medical care all year round.

El Paso Children's Hospital administrators say this supplement children's care when pediatricians are not available after hours.

The urgent care facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. year round.

"As El Paso continues to grow, the far east has expansion that continues, and so we want to be sure to be here to continue to take care of children within our community," said Cindy Stout, President and CEO of El Paso Children's Hospital.

The new urgent care will take all insurances according to Stout.
