Man accused of shooting, killing roommate in Northeast El Paso

UPDATE: El Paso Police confirmed they have arrested 41-year-old David Daniel Hall following a murder in Northeast El Paso earlier this week.

Authorities said that back on July 22 an argument occurred between Hall and his roommate, 33-year-old Joshua Lopez.

EPPD said Lopez went in search for help at a nearby home, but Hall then shot Lopez. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Hall was later found by police officers and placed under arrest.

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that a 36-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Northeast El Paso.

The man was airlifted around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening on the 3600 block of Fred Wilson.

Police say that a suspect shot and killed the man, but they don't have a suspect at this time. They do believe that the incident was isolated and there's no additional danger to the neighborhood.

Anyone with information about the suspect or incident is asked to contact El Paso Police immediately.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday evening after a shooting in Northeast El Paso, according to El Paso Police.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Fred Wilson just after 7 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

One person was transported to a local hospital.

Police have not released information about the victim's condition.
