Here’s how you could win $1,000 by playing cornhole in your own backyard
If you are a lawn game enthusiast, now might be your chance to shine!
Lawn care company TruGreen is offering $1,000 dollars to a cornhole aficionado who is willing to spend a little time outdoors.
“We are looking for someone who is willing to play cornhole and tell us about how you are using it to stay connected while staying safe,” a statement on the company’s website says.
During the coronavirus pandemic, more people have been relying on outdoor leisure activities as a way to enjoy some fresh air while maintaining social distancing and adhering Covid-19 safety guidelines.
“Do you need more reasons to get outside? Looking for ways to have fun while socially (distancing)? Want something to do that’s good for all ages? If you are, then we have the job for you. We’re paying someone $1,000 to play cornhole,” the company says.
The object of this popular backyard game is fairly simple. Players toss small bags filled with corn at a hole in an inclined board.
Contestants for the Trugreen challenge must be 18 years or older and US residents.
Applicants interested in taking their shot to potentially win big can apply here, where they must explain why they’re the best person for the job.
The entry deadline is April 5 at 5 p.m. ET., and the cash prize recipient will be notified by email no later than April 14.
