NFL’s Aaron Jones surprises more El Paso school kids with free shoes

EL PASO, Texas -- It’s not everyday an NFL superstar comes to your school, let alone gives you a pair of shoes, but it's now happened for a second time in recent weeks in El Paso.

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and his family, as part of their A&A Foundation, surprised some lucky Parkland Elementary School students by giving them brand new pairs of Adidas tennis shoes on Monday.

Last month, the former UTEP standout Jones presented students at Hawkins Elementary with shoes in a similar giveaway.

During the Packers 2020 postseason run, Jones had pledged to give away as many shoes as yards he rsuhed. He has said giving away shoes to deserving students is also a way of honoring his late father and continuing on his family's tradition of helping the community.
