El Paso Locomotive FC

EL PASO, Texas - With the summer sporting season around the corner at Southwest University Park, El Paso Chihuahuas General Manager Brad Taylor said today that he anticipates hosting crowds at 70% capacity for both the Chihuahuas and El Paso Locomotive FC.

Taylor added that masks will be mandatory to enter the park.

Single game tickets for the Chihuahuas will go on sale this Saturday at 10 AM online at epchihuahuas.com. Tickets will also be available for purchase in person at the Southwest University Park Durango Box Office, starting at $5.

The Chihuahuas saw their season last year canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of Minor League Baseball's league-wide suspension.

Opening day for the Chihuahuas is scheduled for Thursday, 13 vs. the Albuquerque Isotopes (Colorado Rockies affiliate).

For El Paso Locomotive FC, the season opener is scheduled for Saturday, May 8 vs. New Mexico United at Southwest University Park.

Both the Chihuahuas and Locomotive FC are owned by the same parent group, MountainStar Sports.
