Chapin continue dominant run in El Paso with 70-30 win over Bel Air

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Chapin Huskies have been one of the best teams in El Paso for the past several years and this season is no different.

They entered their non-district clash with the Bel Air Highlanders on Friday night in search of their 58th straight win over an El Paso team. Not only did they continue the streak but they did it by way of a dominant 70-30 win.

Chapin this week moved up to No. 4 in the Class 5A-1 TABC rankings and have their eyes set on another deep run in the playoffs. Friday's win sees them move to 12-3 on the season.

Elsewhere in Friday high school hoops, Santa Teresa picked up their first win of the season, with a 71-61 dub over rivals Gadsden.
