Americas High School running back Aaron Dumas picks up offer from UTEP
EL PASO, Texas -- UTEP head football coach Dana Dimel didn't have to look very far to find a possible recruit.
On Friday, Americas High School running back Aaron Dumas tweeted that he had received an offer from UTEP.
The soon-to-be senior already has other offers from division one programs that include Arizona State and Fresno State.
As a junior last season, Dumas put up some big number and even broke a city record.
He rushed for more than 3,000 yards and scored 36 touchdowns.
The 36 TDs broke a city record for the most touchdowns in a single season.
If Dumas does end up signing with UTEP, he'll join another running back from El Paso currently on the UTEP roster.
Deion Hankins graduated from Parkland High School in 2019 and saw some playing time for the Miners as a freshman last season.
