UTEP celebrates largest graduating class in its history

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The University of Texas at El Paso says its largest graduating cohort ever, more than 3,140 students, will walk the stage to receive a diploma this weekend.

Students will graduate in four commencement ceremonies. We have a complete schedule below.

2023 Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Saturday, May 13, 2023
1 p.m.: College of Health Sciences and College of Nursing
6 p.m.: Woody L. Hunt College of Business, College of Science and School of Pharmacy
Sunday, May 14, 2023
1 p.m.: College of Liberal Arts
6 p.m.: College of Education and College of Engineering

Last week the university warned the lifting of Title 42 and the resulting expected migrant surge might impact students and families planning to cross over from Juarez for the ceremonies. They ask everyone to plan ahead.
