Blown transformer knocks out power to thousands in Downtown El Paso

EL PASO, Texas – According to the El Paso Fire Department, a blown transformer has knocked out power in downtown El Paso.

According to the El Paso Electric outage map, as of 12:09 p.m., there were 2,130 customers affected.
