Windy weather conditions increase need for roofing services

KVIA

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The ABC-7 first alert continues today as strong wind conditions stay in the Borderland.

The winds started to pick up early Wednesday morning with gusts near 50 mph at the El Paso International Airport and will continue throughout the day peaking near 55 mph in El Paso and near 60 mph in Las Cruces.

Strong winds bring an increase in calls for some El Paso Roofers.

The owner of A&M Roofing El Paso tells ABC-7 he has seen an increase in calls since yesterday.

He said when winds start picking up, this is usual for the company to experience.
