UPDATE, Oct. 20: Police said a 50-year-old El Paso woman has died from injuries in a traffic crash that occurred just minutes down the street from her home.

Bobby Jo Catlett was taken to a hospital, where she later died, following Saturday night's crash in the 2000 block of N. Yarbrough in east El Paso; police said Catlett lived in the 2600 block of N. Yarbrough.

Investigators on Tuesday said they had determined Catlett's car rear-ended an SUV that was waiting for the light to change green at an intersection. Those in the other vehicle, which included three children - ages 4 to 8 - were unharmed.

Catlett's death was the 60th traffic fatality of 2020, officials said, compared to 54 at that same time last year.
