Pedestrian struck, seriously injured in far east El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- A pedestrian was struck by a car and seriously injured in far east El Paso early Sunday morning.

It happened near the intersection of Zaragoza Road and Pebble Hills Boulevard.

Fort Bliss officials identified the victim as Spc. Kenmaj D. Graham, 21, a native of Wichita, Kan.

Police summoned traffic investigators to the scene just before 2 a.m.

Authorities said the victim was taken to a local hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries.

No further details were immediately available.
