ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Breezy tonight, warm weekend weather

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is shaping up to be a great, but slightly breezy day. If you are heading out later on, make sure you took some allergy medicine as the winds are kicking up some pollen and dust. Don't fret, even better weather is on the way!

For the weekend, we expect highs to reach the mid to upper 80s and plenty of sunshine. Winds will be breezy in the afternoon but only around 20 mph. The only concern for any day this week and for the next several weeks, until we hit the Monsoon, are fire weather conditions.

Humidities are extremely low here during the spring, and mixed with winds, can lead to the sparking up of a forest, brush or even house fire. With that said, make sure to have a bucket of water nearby just in case the grill sparks, and don't drive onto dry grass with your hot car engine. Enjoy!
