ABC-7 First Alert: Potential record-breaking highs and above average temps

First Alert

The ABC-7 First Alert remains in effect for the heat. Temperatures will be noticeably warmer Thursday and the winds won't be as strong this afternoon. High clouds will be on the increase but that won't stop us from seeing temperatures reach the low 90s. On Friday the temperatures will soar, climbing to 100 degrees, if we hit 100 degrees that would be the earliest on record for El Paso ( previous record May 8th).
