ABC-7 First Alert: Increased west winds, some blowing dust, haze

An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for gusty west winds Thursday. Skies will be mostly sunny but hazy with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. Winds will be from the southwest between 15 to 25 mph with gusts between 35 to 35 mph. Stronger gusty winds are possible on the east and northeast sides of town. Warmer temperatures are expected on Earth Day as a system moves across the Borderland. Friday appears to be windy with a chance for afternoon rain.
