Severe weather threat between 3-11 pm today. Gusty winds (gusts to 60 mph) and heavy rain potential. Can’t rule out quarter size hail.

Much of the Borderland is under a risk to see severe weather. This means scattered severe storms will be possible.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued until 10 p.m. for the El Paso and Las Cruces region by the National Weather Service.
